What is Free Kindy?
Free Kindy is a Queensland Government-funded initiative that provides 15 hours per week of quality early education for children in the year before Prep. This program is all about building strong foundations in learning, confidence, and social development through play-based, engaging experiences that children love.

For eligible families, it’s completely free. No hidden fees, no surprises – just 15 hours of high-quality kindergarten education each week, fully funded by the Queensland Government.
